Savannah Knorr

Savannah Knorr graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2019 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering. After graduation, Savannah spent one year working for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Harrow (AAFC) as a research technician in their microbial ecology lab. Wanting to gain a further understanding of environmental research, she enrolled in the Master’s program at the Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research in Dr. Weisener’s lab, while continuing a working partnership with AAFC. Savannah’s current research investigates the impact of agricultural best management practices on nutrient fluxes and microbial community responses in connected environments (soil, drainage water, surface water, and sediment).
